Police searches

When a law enforcement officer asks for permission to search your home, vehicle or person, odds are they are asking because they do NOT have legal authority to search. The U.S. Constitution gives citizens an expectation of privacy. When you grant law enforcement Permission to search, you have waived that right and any contraband found will probably be used against you.

Know your rights! Protect your rights. When the cops ask for permission, be polite but refuse their request.
